ABOUT US
After too many disappointing experiences in Art Galleries both as an Artist and a Customer, Karen Bloomfield decided to bring her vision of the ‘perfect’ gallery to life.
Always welcoming, the Bloomfield Fine Art Gallery is first and foremost an enticing, beautiful and engaging space, filled with local artwork of the highest standard. Each piece in the collection is selected for its skill, beauty and, of course, collectability.
The Gallery collection is always curated sensitively to highlight and feature each work; the fitout and lighting selected specifically for this purpose.
Exhibiting artists are respected and honoured for their unique talents and individuality. They are invited to spend time in the Gallery ‘Studio’ creating and demonstrating their skill whilst interacting with visitors. The Gallery strives to have a ‘work in progress’ everyday.
The Gallery upper floor has been cleverly purpose built to additionally host Art Workshops run by the exhibited Artists and including; oil painting, acrylics, printmaking, drawing and basket weaving. Check under the Events tab for upcoming Workshops and booking links.
Karen’s expertise stems from 10 years as a professional artist and curator of hundreds of exhibitions. Prior to pursuing her (unavoidable) passion to become an artist, Karen spent 20 years in corporate and small business with a focus on Customer Relations and Small Business Management.
